1990 Cro Mega lx rebuild - Opinions please

Now that the dyna tech is finished I am planning to turn my hand to this. I have plans to upgrade the components bit by bit to DX level including thumb shifters. I may even single speed it.

For now I would like your opinions on the following 2 subjects -

Question 1. The paint work is pretty good and the original decals are mostly still present. However I am thinking that a new paintjob would really tidy the bike up. Problem is I would imagine getting identical original replacement decals for this will be hard (I will ask Gil though). If I do a re paint then I may need to apply 1991 EOS style which are cool but not original. Question - Do I -

a) Leave the frame alone?

b) Re paint the frame in fresh paint and apply this style decal set? (stolen image - sorry)

Question 2.

What stem/seat post colour combo ?

Leave Black

Silver

Paint pink to match forks

Opinions welcome.

Hmm. Tempting to re-paint, though it'd be a shame to lose those unusual decals.

My opinion on stem and seatpost...definitely not silver. Think black on both is good, but the pink stem is an interesting idea.
