Er...Profit???? BOTM must add a few quid!

:o Cheesy your gettin it allroads this month! FWIW I don't think LGF is profiteering, otherwise that bike would be £200 dearer than it is.

It is a very cheap price for a lot of bike and could easily fetch a lot more.

@ toaster999 ... can you keep your comments to a minimum please chap.. as per forum rules...

I do suggest however , that you have a look into the price of overburys cycles and research the value of these bikes prior to posting such negative and non productive comments please..

And i made a loss on the Mt. Tam.

Do your homework before making such sugestions :x

To add my thoughts (for what little they are worth), I bid far more than what LGF is asking for his Overbury's when I won mine.
I have no idea what was paid for this (and couldn't give two hoots that it's won BOTM) but this is a genuine piece of UK bike building history and a total steel (do you see what I did there ) at that price.
Handbuilt, fillet brazed UK custom frame building at its best 8)

......the price

.......well i agree i feel its worth a lot more, purely due to the fact its a handbuilt gorgeous piece of GREAT BRITISH mountain biking history..........and only a fool who wasnt riding or racing at that point in our mtbing history would make such a stupid comment.

as for the bike of the month thing..........surely thats just a bit of fun, i worked really hard on the total resto of my kona cindercone, it was my first post i had no idea of what i was doing,on this site, i never expected to get a single vote,...it was a piece of mountain biking history that was a big influence on me personally which is why i went to the lengths i did, and would never be foolish enough to think it would inflate the price, if i ever wanted to sell it.

i also feel that it is a real shame, lgf has found himself in the tite spot, as he clearly loves the bike, every chance he gets to show the bike on a thread, he does and rightly so, hes clearly proud of it and it!!!!!and it is a british legend.

long live the the great british framebuilders we have left too....(rant over , now im ready for the weekend....)

I may be a relative newbie to this site, but all I know is when I saw this up for sale as a classic example of superb british bike building. Kitted out with some of the best mountain bike kit made IMHO. I was expecting a much higher price tag attached to it.

If I had that money in my account it would be on its way here by now :(

Well, after a pretty good night in the taxi, panic is over. I think I have enough to cover my repairs.

So the Pioneer is off the menu for now anyway. And as an aside, most of my sales have been way below average price.

Thank you for your interest.
