Yes if he has a U brake If not there is always the House "local bike" with double U brakes that is changing colour as we speak , a small pile of parts have emerged in the garage ..............

I have my knackered old GT Timberline frame with a u brake on it but the frame's riding days are over :cry:

I'll be putting in another solo effort at Mayhem next year with a bit more preparation and effort this time around. You never know, I may have unearther a U braked bike by then.

You can rope me in to a lap on the tandem though!

That's cool, shout if you want me to take some close ups. I bought this as a frame only for £14, I know this is the base Stumpjumper model and was specced with Deore but I had the M-737 stuff laying in wait so figured it made sense.

Makster - wow. I so loved taht bike when it came out.

It's an 88. Dinucci Green and Magenta Pink. 87 was all dinucci green. Got catalogues for both if you need help with matching.

So so cool. well done.
