Not sure if this really fits with the 'retrobike' ethos but I have recently finished building up a 1987 Raleigh Granada frame with some more modern components.

Slightly different to how Raleigh originally sold it:

I got the frame as a 'freebie' while picking up another retrobike off a local Facebook marketplace seller, had it sat around for a while.

The only original parts are the frame, fork, and BB cable guide! Frame and fork sand-blasted and powder coated to keep the rust out.

Planning a short test ride today to see how it rolls!

That looks awesome! How did it ride in the end? It looks so modern
Rides great once I got some pedals with clips. Have taken off the mudguards for summer and enjoying it a lot. It fits me just right and it's comfortable for long rides and hours in the saddle.
Still trying to get the bars and hoods aligned just right though.
