Can't wait to start my next build.
I really want to get the head tube welded on my 91' Muddy Fox Alu Pro.
That bike means a lot to me as I owned it since it was new and rode it non stop for at least 5 years.
The cracks in the head tube are in the front, far away from the welds. There is one on the top going down and one on the bottom going up.
I saw someone on here with a MF Alu Pro that was a few years newer with exactly the same problem. They TIG welded it and filed down the welds.
I hope I can do the same. I wouldn't be thrashing on it anymore anyways .

As @Tsundere mentioned, this is one awesome thread! Love early Cannondale's. Fat frame tubes vs. skinny forks + roller cams make for awesome looking machines!

I've restored a few in the past, but they were complete bikes I just cleaned up and replaced parts etc.
