1983 Box Crown Fat Chance

Retro Guru
This is my 10th Fat Chance and one of the cleanest & mintiest I own
She is the 84th FC Built in 1983 and sports original tires & grips that are in great condition.
Chris was pretty stoked when he saw it and posted to his Instagram….so that was kinda cool
It sports the Reynolds 531 Box Crown Fork option which was pretty exotic.

• Shimano Deore XT M700 "deerhead" and Mountech
• 3x6 speed friction shifting
• Specialités T.A. Cyclotourisme triple crankset
• Anodized RM-20 Rims
• Original Stumpjumper tires

Re:

Beautiful 8) Love these early bikes, esp FATs with a box crown fork. Those tyres are probably worth as much as the bike !
