Fat Chance Fan
Got lucky enough to find this 1983 Fat Chance recently.
Came from the 2nd owner.
It was ridden lightly until the late 90's then put away.
Lots of good original parts still on it including:
the box crown fork, handlebars, crankset, bottom bracket & front rim/hub.
1st pics shows it as found (w/ added vinyl decals).
Later pics show frame after I broke it down.
Frame is super clean & all original paint.
It is Serial #73 & as far as I can tell they only made 15 in 1982 so this would be #88 in production overall.
Just started getting together the (NOS) parts it needs to build back to original.
Have (NOS) headset, front & rear brakes, brake handles w/ covers, front derailleur & pedals.
Looking for (NOS) Dear Head rear derailleur & Laprade seatpost now.
A matching rear rim/hub is going to be tough. The seat collar adapter too.
