Thanks for the interest - but will keep the groupset for my Merlin if I sell just the frame - which is looking most likely, so not splitting this one I'm affraid.

In response to emails I'm still getting answer is: YES, I am quite happy to sell the bare frameset for £295 + post or swap/p/x it for a 19" Kona King Kahuna (new FS frame)

A note on sizing:
- GT 19" sizing
- CtoC 18"
- CtoT 19.5"

GT in fact measured all their bikes from center to center and yours is actually an 18" frame. I kind of thought that when I saw the pic at the top of the listing because it appeared as though the top tube was sloping slightly. GT's 18 and 19' frames have the same size head tube. The 18" frame top tube slopes a bit and the 19" is pretty much level. I've sold 15 Xizang and Lightning frames/bikes in the past 14 months. A number were shipped to forum members. The Lighting was only produced in 1997 and 1998 and the frame was in fact produced in Taiwan. I have seen and owned for short periods of time at least 7-8 Lightnings and none have ever had a made in the USA decal on them. A couple of the ones I picked up had less than 300 original miles on them and all parts and original decals were in place.

put the frame on the bay. There were two 16" Lightning frames that sold on ebay.com last week. One went for $859 and the other $849. mine was the one at 849. Put it out at a ten day listing with a BIN at 9:45pm went to bed...woke up at 7am and it was gone. Man do I like making money on bike bits while I sleep.
