18lb, 4oz ...of Tom's finest steel.. . :) updates page 5

Well tbh fella, its took me a long time to find these,, especially NOS.. they cost me a small fortune,, and not something that will be sold any day soon.. there are iirc still some on the german ebay If you decide you fancy some.. :)

Erm....thats not going to work...
You've got the nine speed for ritchey shifters, which are 8spd spacing with shimano indexing. The cassette is 8spd spacing. The rear mech is sram 1:1. So the shifters won't work with the mech. Or if you use the sram betsy shifters, you're trying 9spd indexing on 8spd spacing.

Or have i missed something? :? :?

how did you solve the problem you had fitting the extra sprocket ?

and I though Betsy was 9 speed ?

The 1997 betsy was 8 speed fella,, :)

I ended up fitting a Ti freehub body and the cassette and the extra sprocket went on with the lockring no problem chap.. ;)

Bit of a update :)

Target weight of 20lb dead has been achieved , could have gone slightly lighter , but think this weight with suspension forks is balanced just right , more

Here's a couple for you.. :)

Thanks Jon , the sids were the logical step up from the judy's but the colour is the only thing I am unsure on,, if they stay, then more than likely , when I get the nod on the replacement frame decals and the frame goes in for respray , these will get a custom spray job to blend in a little more with the colour on the frame .. :)

wouldn t it be simpler to respray the legs of the sid in dark blue or black ?
and light blue on the frame may look a bit weird for a ritchey ?
