I'm hoping to build up a nuke proof reactor frame, yes the one that runs a rear shock up inside the head tube to provide front end bounce. I'd like to upgrade the stock coil shock with an air unit, but it's not as easy as it sounds as in order for it to fit, the air valve and adjusters need to be fairly slim and not stick out from the body too much.

Possibly a tall ask, but asking anyway as I'm hoping to get this back on the road and it's going to take some work for sure.

Thanks, looks good aside from one thing, one of the adjusters will be hidden way up there inside the frames head tube. No biggie once set up right, but could be a right pita until then, or if a further fettle is needed. Maybe I could make some lockout style adjuster through the top of the stem bmx giro style? Possibly already got enough on my plate with this build at the moment.

Cheers, seen those, I thought kind shock were a bit rubbish?

But still better than the stock coil shock??

Have you got the stock shock? it may not be brilliant, but it's what the system was designed to use, so may be easier to get the bike together, then tweak it with an air shock at a later date? (I have experience of doing the same thing with my Proflex, but at least the shock is on the exterior on those frames/forks  ).

I think I'll keep my eye out but stick with the stock coil for now as the project has enough issues already to deal with. An air shock at 165 with a bit of sag dialled in may work but it will be a long time before I can try anything out anyway.
