1" Quill to Ahead Adaptor now only £4 posted

Two little things for sale that I wont need for any forthcoming projects:

26.2 seatpost. I make it 360mm long. Inserted as NOS but wrong size (should have been 26.8 ). Kalloy branded, lovely looking post with funky work on the top as in pics. Has a few insertion marks etc from fitting and sitting in the frame for a month looking sad and wrong sized. £12 posted.

SOLD £14 including shipping to Iceland (£4.73!)


Quill 1" to 1" ahead adaptor. Brought off Scant on here a year ago for a project that never materialised. Only after a few bob as its cosmetically not the best although it doesn't get shown anywhere as stem obviously goes over the top. Say £5 posted. now £4 posted (second class ) - giving it away!

I could be tempted to prize the adaptor from you, though one question. How does the top-cap fit on? Is there a star nut in there?

Hi Ian,

It works exactly like a quill stem, so it's just a bolt down into a wedge. This then leaves a mock ahead steerer for your stem to bolt onto.

Hope that explains it, if not i'll try to explain again!
