£23.95 To Spend on What?

I bought an HG-50 7 speed cassette for the above amount (expensive?) and just went to fit it onto the P21. It's black! Nowt against black components, my 1991 XTII groupo was black, but a black cassette, no thanks. The LBS has agreed to change it for something else so what should I have? I'm supposed to be riding up at Cannock at the weekend so maybe I should invest in some water proof socks.
Or......What would you get?

The black (low end ones) are case-hardened as a by-product of the blackening process. Therefore they actually last longer than the costly plated one!

Keep the cassette as need a new one?? Other wise why buy a new one if you didn't need it? Or gett a 'better' one and pay a bit more??
