    for £20 I couldn`t resist

Years ago I bought a total gaspipe frame for £60... but it was Cinelli, and unbuilt. Because everyone had thrown them away, it was super rare Sold to a collector in Israel for £600👍 These bottom end bikes deserve a place in a museum, they tell us history more than the flash stuff. but often...

Selling up and leaving the hobby - Your failure experiences?

Do it. Let us know what you get. I would say it takes 10 offers to have a genuine buyer on top price 90s mtb kit - hopefully you've got good ones.

Selling up and leaving the hobby - Your failure experiences?

Throw in that "boring the expats with details about 90s mtb component development rather than golf" and your into a winner 👌

Selling up and leaving the hobby - Your failure experiences?

Sell the rare ones last, is the idea.

Selling up and leaving the hobby - Your failure experiences?

If you've had enough you can start selling. If it's the wrong decision, you'll find out soon enough. If you want back in again later, easy enough really.

Great news. Ebay drops seller charges!

I offered 185 for a bike at 205 I then accepted a counter offer of £195 I accepted his price of 195 and moved to make payment, thru paypal. But they charged me the original 205. I had to call ebay customer services to get the money back - they initially told me it was the buyer protection...

Any idea what this is? - 1920s Radior

Although the French cockroaches will have saddles too high, bars a little on the piss, cranks a-wobble, and be swerving all over the post- apocalyptic landscape with they sticky gallic headsets😉

Any idea what this is? - 1920s Radior

The bikes go in the furnace because the bb and headset are shot, and the seat post has been stolen. I have skimmed down a fork steerer to release a valuable stem, and Causticked out a stem to save a nice fork, but not being a charity, if the job don't pay, we can't do it. 🙄

Any idea what this is? - 1920s Radior

Luckily most French bikes stayed in France Until the 2006 hipster boom, that saw young Englishmen in flat caps swarm through the brocantes buying up "bien charmant" but "totallement knackered" old bikes with funny threads and diameters, at a few euros each, buffing them up and selling them...

Caroline Alexander’s Klein “Pulse” - Attitude by a different name? Racing History, no less.

Amazing job👌 I'd suggest more splay on the canti arms - brakes weren't much good in those days, you needed as much leverage as possible!

    XT Deore M750 Crankset-Head Scratch

The balls in a cartridge bearing are a lot smaller than the 1/4" in a cup and cone - so they wear faster - but when you replace a cartridge, you've done all the wearing parts, whereas the cup in cup'n'cone is a fixed part of the hub.

Can a Single Speed Freewheel fit an Old Campy Hub?

Multi pawl, toothy ratchet is best for flatland Bmx trick riding. On a race style bike you're going fast enough to pick up straight away. We stock shimano single speed freewheels. The fancy ones are nicely engineered though, so an object of desire - and some have weather sealing, good for...

What is this voodoo - weird middleburn lock ring

Warming it all up should reduce the force required. And if you're thinking of replacing it with the hollowtec bb style tool fitting lockring, it doesn't matter if you crack it to get it off

Can a Single Speed Freewheel fit an Old Campy Hub?

First swap some axle spacers around to get the hub central between the locknuts Then re-dish the rim. There's a chance you might run out of thread on the nondriveside spokes, and you may have a little thread showing ds, but longer nipples can cover this. If the nipples are seized, it's worth...
