I've got a nice 1985 57 cm Miyata 1000 frameset but it's all way over here ..westcoast Canada .
.............and just now seemingly sold . Good luck with your search - they are terrific bikes.
Well, it ain't a MTB but still pretty nice. Road bike by Moe Pardhan I stumbled upon /retrieved today. Driveside shot soon.
Look at that elegant wishbone !
This is great to see you undertaking this - impressive work ! I've had three altitudes and every damn one was missing its angled seat collar.
Just acquired a 94 blizzard and may be hitting you up for a spare (black or silver) - thanks.
Hi, I filed the top lip out of a more modern seat binder so it could slide down beyond the angled portion ...used thin gauge brass sheeting
underneath to "protect" the seat-tube. Was the only thing that actually held that damn post from slipping .
Resurrecting an old thread. Here's another Ukai rim example from an 87/88 ? "Ritchey" Enduro (lugged frame made by Panasonic Japan)
made for the Canadian Market.
Nice to see an Ultra built a "little different." Curious as to how the Ultra rides /handles with a Switchblade fork
as opposed to the Ritchey logic unicrown ?
I might as well add one more that has quickly come and gone months ago ...the true temper tubing and prestige fork make for one
exceptionally nice ride. 93 Blizzard
You got it, I will keep you in mind ! Going to fix it up /swap a few cleaner parts in and see how it rides. Catalogue states largest is 20.5"
..actual measurement is 21" C-T and short effective TT = 22"
Thanks Roy ! I was donating some parts to a local cycling organization and found that Avalanche in a heap...feared it might find its way into the metal recycle bin.
