I had a seatpost stuck in a Fire Mountain and after sugestions from dudes on here i tried the freezing method and thankfully it worked so big thanks to marc two tone who answered my cry for help, it worked perfectly with no damage to the frame.

I realise this could be a daft question but could anyone explain the process Kona used when applying the splatter finish to the early bikes, was it a hand job or machine, are they all the same or each is different? Looking forward to some info.

The old chestnut of seat post stuck in frame. Alloy post stuck in an old Fire Mountain, whats the best way of retreiving. Frame is needed but seat post not. Also how to identify age of the frame, using the frame number or just down to the colour scheme? Thanks.
