amp b3 rear shock

Can I upgrade the original rear shock on my amp b3, it seems a tad lifeless. Thanks.

You can, though you are limited to risse shocks or something custom. I think stratos also did them. You might find a service of the existing shock breathes a little life back in but they are a fairly basic shock with oil weight the only way to adjust damping.

Google risse racing and be prepared for a few hundred quid outlay plus import duty. I need to check but I may have a spare risse shock for a b3 if you are interested? I have a litespeed obed which uses an amp rear end and bought a couple of shocks back when I had some spare money but I should only need one so one will be spare.
