Take a step back for a minute or two. Can you soak it overnight and get hold of a better socket?
Don't rush in with too much brute force (that's not working) and make it worse*
*been there,done that 🙃
Jagwire (I would say) are a better cable, with a good choice of colours now. Also,as bikeworkshop says, the Nokon/Alligator links don't play nice with mud/grit ,and being aluminium ,over time they oxidize/crumble quicker on off-road builds.
Been a big fan of Nokon and Alligator cable sets for a while.
They do tight turns very well, especially with some rear mechs.
Oh, and they are very 'Bling' ;) 🙃
I have a set of (26") wheels in the attic that were built up by Sonic Cycles back in 97.
They have wiggly/zig-zag spokes and are a proper PITA to true up.
But hey, they look cool when spinning ;) 🤣
Just popped in to see how the build was going, adding the Power Grips is genius . To figure out how to make a quick getaway, the thief would have to be well over 50 ;) 🤣 🤣
A set of Ritchey Pro V4s in very (almost new) good condition.
Very minimalist and the pedals and cleats weigh in at 250g
I bought these a long time ago to replace my trusty Dura Ace PD 7410s ,as I don't use road pedals on my road bikes (I know, I know ;-) ),but I then managed to get a new set of...
Apologies if this has been around for ages.
I was watching the Paris-Nice ,and in the run up to the finish, it looked like there were a few sets of wider/flared bars.
Is this because some of the sprinters/ lead outs are now using them.
Thanks :)
Could he have been singing about 9 speed XTR and Dura Ace kit? ;) 🙃 🤣
I never cease to be amazed at how long some of my 9 speed rear mechs, STIs and changers have lasted.
So, what are your objects that refuse to die, and 'You're Never Gonna Give Them Up' :)
