From local ads. Advertised as a "vintage English style bicycle".

I figured it'd be a better bike. But living where I live our roads are mostly subpar (tons of potholes, gravel and packed dirt surfaces, puddles, and so on) so I'll have to rule this bike out. We see very few road bikes around here but lots of MTBs. I only posted the photo to see if some members...

I found this Peugeot for sale too, same low asking price. Opinions, please (sorry to be a pain, but my bike ignorance is abysmal and I need much help recognising a quality bike).
