For Sale Orange Aluminium o frameset 19"

I think the photo dimensions being squished side to side make the seat look further up than it probably is. These frames generally measure about 18.5" centre to top for the 19" and then there is quite a big jump to the 20" which is really a 20.5" - I have found that in the past with Orange as...

For Sale immaculate fuselage 1990 Fisher Celerity 18.5" outstanding pre-Gary Fisher, pre-Trek FISHER F&F

I just wish my Procalibre from the same era was in the same sort of condition - its just lovely to find a late '80s retro-MTB that doesn'e need re-painting for a change - its a tribute to its original owner from new this one, he clearly kept it indoors really looked after it - amazing he had the...

Wanted Silver bar, quill stem, post

I'd help you with my Marin branded stem above once I fit a replacement in a couple of weeks from now, but its so early its 1" quill unfortunatley not 1,1/8". It was interesting how Fisher went from 1" to 1,1/4" before eventually settling on 1,1/8" like everyone else.

Wanted Wanted tidy 3x7 or 3x8 road STI levers

Yes you are right they do. The old Door 4 finger levers work a treat on the 105 calipers, my Dave Yates road bike has on it, after a flat bar conversion. Yes I remember now it's V brakes and cable disc brakes that need long pull levers👍

Wanted Wanted tidy 3x7 or 3x8 road STI levers

that sounds cool - I know that some early Shimano mid-range groups like I had on my Kona DewDrop - had cable operated discs, and they were STI road levers that would also operate V-Brakes, so should also pull cantis' - I think that was what the Cane Creek levers I had previously were

For Sale Pair of Spin Trispokes wheels 26" collection only Essex uk

brings back memories - I used to have a pair of those - they ended up going with a GT LTS I sold. Always looked good. They made them in 20" BMX 26" and 700c too - would be good tri-bike wheels in 700c but you rarely see them. 👍

Withdrawn 1988/89 Peugeot Montana (Full XT Groupset)

and try not to make it any cheaper or I'll have to do it - I've got an STX grouppo I'd put on it, use the XT on an Overbury's project, and then its just a set of 26mm bulge drop bars and some STI units with some brake adpaters. In fact the only reason I've not bought it already is that being...

Withdrawn 1988/89 Peugeot Montana (Full XT Groupset)

nice, almost worth putting a set of drop bars on that and making a sensible size 26er gravel bike out of it, and the complete early XT group on it is worth a fair chunk of the £395 it costs anyone - and the 531 frame in pleasing colours and a nice finishing kit on top - decent tyres, sensible...

Wanted Wanted tidy 3x7 or 3x8 road STI levers

Thanks for those - I like the idea of either of those, just can't decide which way to go - will depend if I can source a nice pair of standard brake levers for drop bars, preferably something with the longest possible pull so I might get a set of canti's to work with them. I used to have some...

    Wanted Wanted - 25.4 quill stem - a light'ish, shortish, hig'ish rise

25.4 quill stem that's steeper than 10 degrees, (45deg max) with 90-120mm reach a hole or pulley for front canti-s would be handy but not essential condition not esstential - I don't mind repainting or paying a bit more for 'as new' either way Something like a Syncros with a nice rise would...

Wanted wanted (in the UK) 1,1/8" early composite rigid MTB fork (Bontrager, Switchblade, PaceRC30 etc) for pre-suspsension geometry

I'd hang onto your mk.1s if I were you (I sold my original Reynolds531 Pace RC31 and spent ages tracking down another set -for my Marin Team Ti - (mainly because that what I had on a team-ti in the late'90s and its a nostalgia thing). Thanks for the photos but not sure what I could do with your...
