Hideous places.
Free day, good excuse to get some good miles in. Heat, humidity and headwinds nearly ended me, definitely need to be taking two bottles out with me. First proper ride out in the Shimano XC702s too; very nice feeling shoe, big improvement over the Decathlon Triban gravel shoes I had prior. Great if you like the aesthetics of road shoes but want to keep 2 bolt SPD.

New route day! I've been staring at Google maps the last couple of days trying to figure out a potential new loop for my lunch break spins.
The goal was to find something with: A decent climb, Mix of terrain (road & track), Able to bang it out in an hour
It was way too hot for a climb today (29°), but got to grab the opportunities when they arrive!
