Busy setting this early 80s Saracen up which was acquired from this Forum. Such a lovely comfortable ride. Just toying if I should get mudguards or not.
That is a lovely example of a lovely bike! If it is to remain so, then yes 'grds or very dry weather use only!

It is. I can't claim the credit for the hard work and effort to get it where it is today but yup, I'll be avoiding wet weather riding I think.

Very nice! Frame says Kiliflyer to me, decals possibly 1988?well im not sure what mine is picked it up this week not seen the colour before or decals and altho very kili flyer seems to be smooth round the seatpost not gusset maybe you saracen guys will know better than meView attachment 951416View attachment 951417
cheers buddy frame colour looks different too compared to the other blue ones ive seen and they have all been 89 so maybe could be an early 89 also the forks seem to be 88 with the 2 mounts at bottom
so my thinking is could it be an early 89 maybe before they settled on the frame colour decals are original and the paint also looks original bit of an odd one
