Ah ha! I see now, they sure built em sturdy! Certainly got lots of options.. a little twin wheel trailer for trekking and wild camping would look neat.

After a weekend feeling under the weather, it was a short and chilled ride this afternoon. Grey but pleasant outside, it was peaceful, without too many people about, and good to stretch my legs. I stopped for a brief stroll through Westgate Gardens on the way back.
Typically dark and dank BH Monday morning ride. At least there was zero breeze, at a balmy 9 degrees, wet roads after overnight rain (long overdue), thick cloud. Of course it was wall to wall blue skies by 14:00!
To cap it off, whilst I stopped for a quick breather at Bottoms (!) looking at the cheeky 12% out, I heard the unmistakeable hissing sound from the rear tyre. I wouldn't mind so much but I was planning to fit new tyres later that morning (which I did)
But as ever, any day in the saddle is a good day!

this isnt a million miles from me. is there a carpark close by?Another beautiful day today so me and a mate opted for an early drive up to Gisburn forest (trail centre). Was mega peaceful - just birdsong - and the trails were running bone dry and fast; hard going on a hardtail down the black runs but I've still got the skills

Love Rockhoppers. My '97 is still one of my favourite rides of all time, though it sports a P2 and a fair bit of modern components, but the frame is definitely one of my favourites.
I'm out of breath looking at that hill mate.
