  • Hi there Spanky,
Didnt want to detract from the sale post, but my enquiring mind wanted to ask about the size and condition and price in mind of the explosif frame..!?
I have been looking for a frame and forks to do a single speed build with one of the derailleur replacement tensioners etc.
Also looking out for a mate, we are both 6- 2" though...
    regards
    Ben

Hi Ben, the Explosif is a 19" frame so 50/50 for your height, i'm 5ft 10in and it fits me perfectly.
This is it in the front next to it's brother 😁 while i was thinking of building it up. Price i haven't really thought of that yet, everytime i go to sell it i keep changing my mind 😊
    Cheers
    Chris

Keep my eye open for that should it make it too the for sale section, that looks amazing, may well be beyond my means. I've been looking for a tatty velocity stem to get pro shortened, perhaps a frame to renovate for a non std build would be right.. ? as you say 19" is pushing it a bit, but maybe..!
Hi Chris, thought you might like to know since you mentioned it on the Lemon thread, your old Clockwork has now returned from paint (Kevin Winters), now back in its original satin orange..the hunt for parts commences..

If you are passing North Shields and you want to have a look at the bikes, let me know.

Frame colour, at least what we thought was the original colour was matched to Fluorescent Red, this ties in with another guy who has matched the paint to his original fork colour. The satin finish darkens the colour as opposed to a gloss that lightens colour.

Always thought it was an early bike and certainly looks the part in the new colour. I'll definitely like to pop up and see the bikes, especially JMC's Hardisty bike that's a holy grail bike for me.
