Stock rims on the 93 Quatrefoil in Baja Blue were Araya TM-18 36 hole. The Mavic 217's shown on it weren't even available until 1995. I run 32 hole 217's on my LTS tandem...no issues.

Like I said it's a standard 1993 catalog offered 26 wheel Quatrefoil LX. The only year GT offered a 26" wheel Quatrefoil. Specs from the back of the 93 catalog:

Grest story but...that's just what it is. They are nothing but 1993 stock 26" wheel Quatrefoils. These were a standard offering to dealers in 1993 and not made special. Obviously some of the original parts were changed like the Judy DH forks on a 93 model year Quatrefoil frame.

If it has GT stamped in the top tube end cap it's an 88-89 era Outpost or Talera which oriignally whrer not triple triangle frames. ....if not, it's a Mt. Shasta

James Dry Ice is a 92 color, so it's a 3D fork.

I saw that yesterday....not the 2x4 fork I'm looking for. That one has tapered blades. It's off a 91 Quatrefoil tandem in Midnight Aurora.
