nope, both frames are around 1500g.

1993 Fat Chance Titanium / 9,20kg almost all screws, nuts and bolts are titanium or aluminum. the build was a challenge between a buddy and me who can build the lightest time correct bike. his gt xizang lost at 9,6kg :lol:

Re: I try to build an LTS from 1996... Should be the LTS team which was sold frame only. Its the same blue as the LTS-2 but but made from 6061-T6 and with the titanium linkage. Also made in USA :wink: Got one of those in 16inch

Backfire MC2, very nice! Only two little points. First the seatpost. Even its a Klein branded, this build earned a tune or something like that. And imho silver spokes fit better for a bike from 1996.
