Re:

I received the frame today. It is better in person. I need to get the wheels built, which will be done next Friday. :(

Meanwhile, I will bolt on the fork and the rest of the stuff. I also need Shimano black chainrings, if anyone has spares.

Nice one. Not so many Top Guns are out there...
Since you decided not to go for a catalog spec, why using a "boring" XT 730/732?

Campagnolo for example can also go well...

Actually, I reversed my decision and am going to get close to catalog spec. Some minor changes though, namely seatpost, saddle and skewers.

BITD XT was this the pinnacle (no pun intended).

Re:

I made a little progress today, I took some pics, they are a little dark though. I took off the protective pads for a pic, but put them back on right after. I can be a little clumsy.

I like your Campy-built, Lars - but def. nothing boring with a 730/732 built on this one

edit: I don´t know why the pic get´s blurry when re-sizing it to fit in this site.... Sry

Re:

I believe I am done, but it is raining, so have to wait to take some good pics.

I forgot to put the crank caps on.
