Im afraid I need an absolute beast of a steerer as it is for a 22" frame. Thanks for the reply though. I suspect the request may be a bit of a tall order but my fingers are crossed.
Im itching to get my hands on a pair of the elusive 1" pepperoni forks or something similar. I need roughly an 8 1/2" threaded steerer. Any colour is fine, as are chips scrapes and scratches as it will probably be getting a respray anyway.

Its colne anodising ltd. I dont know if they are game to do small stuff but im told they do frames etc so its worth a call. Chap I spoke to who had his frame done said they were dead nice chaps.

As far as I know its something you got on french bikes, to be honest I dont really know any more than that. Does it tighten up fine in a steerer tube? I suppose the difference is minimal and would have little impact on anything.

If all else fails pop down to your local bike shop and see if they have any bits of cut down steerer tube from an 1.5" fork in their scrap bin. It fits perfectly.
