Im itching to get my hands on a pair of the elusive 1" pepperoni forks or something similar. I need roughly an 8 1/2" threaded steerer. Any colour is fine, as are chips scrapes and scratches as it will probably be getting a respray anyway. Thanks

Its colne anodising ltd. I dont know if they are game to do small stuff but im told they do frames etc so its worth a call. Chap I spoke to who had his frame done said they were dead nice chaps.

Its not exactly on your doorstep but theres a place in colne (lancashire) who im told are bike friendly and quite cheap too.

If all else fails pop down to your local bike shop and see if they have any bits of cut down steerer tube from an 1.5" fork in their scrap bin. It fits perfectly.

Did you know that trek sell all manner of coloured brake and gear cables which I think are unbranded jagwire kit. If I remember rightly they come in 10 meter rolls. :wink:
