    FORK-English: the final countdown!

And awaaay! To its new owner. 👍 Probably the last disc brake suspension fork out of Fork English. This was a build using a good secondhand crown/stanchion assembly fitted with NOS carbons and bridge, new seals throughout etc. etc. Fairly rare with the 1” steerer.

Well, after a bit of a marathon effort on (enigma) Bens 3 forks with a really pleasing and successful outcome including changing a pressed-in steerer, here is the next build for another cherished customer: an Airforce 2 with a 1” steerer

Cracking caused by over tightening of Hope disc mount on rear lower of carbon probably. Very common, and yes I may have a good replacement but would need to check👍

    FORK-English: the final countdown!

Doh! Turned out as a custom 1996 MXC with optional oil damper fitted, not an MXCD! Check your crown widths eh?!! 😉

Pace fork experts please! Anodised, or not?

Wow, that is a long steerer, not sure Peter does a threaded longer than 240, but then I have never been asked for one. The ahead steerers are 300mm I think.
