Hi, I never have mounted one, nor hold one ever in hands, but they look interesting. Maybe this box picture and the instruction might be of help: If you still have questions, please show pictures or your brake and what kind of spacers you do mean.

Santa cruz catalogs needed 2005 and 2006

I would also love to find more Santa Cruz catalogs. Maybe as a workaround, the Bike Archive at the SC webpage is quite good: Eg. for the superlight https://www.santacruzbicycles.com/en-de/pages/product-support/superlight-2 or pages like Bicycle Bluebook do include also specs...

    What is this bike

I do agree, this is just a BSO, but potentially even one sold as DiamondBack... Come on, to me already since 1997, when the name and decals have been changed from "Diamond Back" to "Diamondback", this brand got crap, but at least after been sold to Derby in 1999. Maybe this is an early...

    Found in my local classifieds...

same problem here, no use at all for a road racing bike. Other than that, I do really like those Giant TRC models. Already back in time I found them cool. Giant has tried Mid to End of 90ties to use the compact and sloping top tube frame design popular for MTBs also for RR models. The picture...

    Not seen these Avids before

Hi, just FYI we do have in the german Forum now a pretty good documentation of Avid products. https://www.mtb-news.de/forum/t/der-avid-thread-historie-produkte-modelle-bilder-infos-usw.995060/ Just the 1D and 3.0 levers seem to be the most obskure and undocumented ones. The must have been...

    Found in my local classifieds...

I hope it's fine for you if I add another comment. Schauff was not the only one selling a one-side ECS. I think someone here in the forum called this type of frame "drive side fail" or something similar. The Frame used from Schauff and others was very likely delivered from A-pro from Taiwan...

    Bike ID help!

No idea about the frame or manufacturer, but it has IS disc mounts at the back, and also at the fork, that means its younger than 2000, It has still cantilever bosses that means it's typically not younger than 2005.

hi, I have shared already my concerns, https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/univega-alpina-any-good-good-base-for-a-backpacking-bike.492250/post-3717617 as I have used back in time my Univega Alpina for bike packing trips, but this was at an age of 20, nowadays I would simply use but also...
