    Mystery and Unidentified Parts

wasn't Sunn using the name "brute" end of the 90ties as brand name for their components like stems?

    Found in my local classifieds...

BTW: not sure where this nice picture has its origin, but it describes perfectly well how Bike designers seem to work 🤣 I think the designer of this bike from a brand called Leonardo had apparently same ideas still on sale in German Classifieds...

    Found in my local classifieds...

both ugly, strange and on the other hand a bit interesting at the same time  A bike at the first glance a bit similar like the Alex was offered around Millenium also from the Volkswagen accessory group There are different spec versions, up to dual crown fork and spengle wheels The other...

Can anyone identify the model or date of this Claud butler

looks to me like this model called Zagato from 1994, just the decals of the model name seem to be removed It was one of the low price or entry level models, and used cheap components and wheelset are something I would personally not recommend to buy or ride.

K2 OZ Full Suspension Mountain Bike, Mystery, Early 2000s?

The seatpost seems to be correct as it is, it's a bit of an issue with that design that you can not lower the seatpost too much, because it will collide than with the moving rear triangle.

that seem to be correct, e.g. there was a frame offered for sale two years ago, looks very close to yours. https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/alpinestars-cro-mega-d735-frame-1993.468339/ It's a nice frame, CroMo with True temper tubing for main frame and Tange for the rear. Raleigh Thunder Road and its brothers in a catalogue?

I don't think if I have ever seen a catalog so far including this model, but Raleigh had a more than a confusion model portfolio in the 90ties, with mostly several lines (lightweigt, SPD, Dynatech, etc), different brands (Raleigh USA) and different regional sales markets. This one here seem to...

42 Tooth Cassette and Deraileur help

I've used or rather just tried thos derailleur hanger often called goat link. It helps to operate nowadays big range cassettes with older derailleur designed for 3/2x X drivetrains. Just wasn't satisfied, as the top Pulley is with that pretty far away from the smaller cogs. So yes it does the...

Cyclone cranks - info and ….

Hi, a nice one 👍 Cyclone cranks have been produced by CPI in Taiwan and there are many different variations starting from 1995, most iconic are the ones with full cut-outs (but maybe also the most filigrane) Some other brands sold those CPI cranks too, some OEMs like Wheeler or Winora have...

    Hoeser with Laiti

I'm pretty sure the frame used for this bike was also for sale for a while at Kleinanzeigen / classified in Germany, not long time ago. I have no clue if it works and how well, but the concept using an torsion elastomere looks interesting. Hoeser was also building pretty nice frames, often...

Help with this Rock Shox please

I'm sure here in the forum there would be the best place to get ones. I'll also check storage in my bike cave, I have dismantled a few ones where mostly just one side was damaged, but don't want to promise anything upfront.
