Old Skool Adverts--- Got a Favorite, Post it.

I was actually looking for the Cannondale advert with the rider free falling a cliff in a super V with his left hand just raised of the bars. I always wondered what followed that picture…how the guy landed. I think most of you know which one I am talking about?

Anyways I couldn’t find it so here is my 2nd best:

Been waiting for this one, thank you.

I didn't see the Bullseye cranks in any of the previous posts, pulleys yes, cranks no.

I had these on a Cannondale as I kept tweaking the non-forged Shimano offerings at the time. Coming from a BMX background I guess I jumped the poor bike a bit much. The biggest issue was the BB cups/bearings, never got that sorted.

Not my favourite ad, but I found it when searching for info about the Diamond Back Overdrive, and it proves the point that 90's bars were stupid narrow. Here Susan DeMattei, with her 165cm of height, still runs out of space for her hands in the bars (Brahma bars were 58.5cm). The XTR brake levers are barely not touching each other. Great for small apartments and traffic jams though...

They don’t look too crazy narrow for 90s bars, but that bend forced your hands in.

Stem mounted computer though! Ahead of her time! 💪😎

I have to admit I was a fan of Susan back in time ;),
but I do like at this advertisement in particular the smaller picture showing also Harry Leary, an BMX racer of the 70/80ties, but apparently not perfect in shape in the nineties any longer, at this time product manager at DB.

He is going out for a ride with the DB top racer Susan. Although she's using her typical Axis MTB with suspension fork, he seem to have decided that he can join her by just using his universal weapon, the Overdrive 700C bike...

BTW: Harry passed away last year https://www.usabmx.com/news-and-med...-of-BMX-loses-a-Legend-::-HARRY-LEARY?id=2035 - RIP!
