Hi, years ago I removed this fork from a Marin and now I'm having a clearout.
All the Marin Rockstar forks I've seen online have Marin decal all along the fork, but not this one.
Also, it has a threaded tube.
What is it?
Thanks

So far the main components so far are:
XT Shifters, brakes, front and rear mech, wheels and skewers.
Richey carbon handlebar rizer
FSA carbon stem
Carbon bottle cage
Carbon seatpost
Selle italia saddle
Panaracer XC pro tyres (they're excellent btw. Thanks @ibbz for your advice)
Marzocchi Bomber...
Made a few adjustments lately and I thought I needed to update my thread.
I came across a pair of XT wheels and being half the weight of mine I couldn't resist.
Unexpectedly they came with brand new brake discs; the seller either made a mistake or had pity for a cheapskate like me after haggling...
On cars it depends how worn the pipe connector is.
That's the last bit which connects to the caliper and it's flexible and easily replaced.
If it's not become brittle it can be left in place and connected to the new caliper without any problem.
Hopefully whoever fitted these brakes used a torque wrench.
It's incredible how little these things (and most things) need tightening.
Car wheelnuts are torqed (mostly) at 120Nm.
If you try tightening by feel after using a torque wrench you easily get another quarter turn and could even get...
