Yes please. Do you need measurements or are they all the same? Do you have a gold one like mine? How much? Thanks

The adjuster is there, inside the damper shaft. It turns with a 2mm allen key and it clicks every half turn. Now I understand why the bolt is hollow. 👍

By the way, forgive the probably useless details, but the original oil seals were single lip, so I went for the same ones, although they sell the double lip as well. My thinking: these oil seals usually work with rotating shafts, so less friction than up/down movements. Double lip might crate...

Help with this Rock Shox please

Update. I measured the old oil seals with a caliper and they are exactly 10x22x7. I bought new ones at £4.20 including postage from Bearing Kings. The seals I received are identical to the original ones, so the guy selling them on Ebay is way too expensive at over £17 for 2. Anyway, I fitted...

Wanted A stanchion for a Rock Shox Judy 1996

As per title. Possibly other models would fit. I update with exact measurements tomorrow. I put a couple of pictures so you know what I'm after. Thanks

Help with this Rock Shox please

Ok, I cleaned all the small bits today and yes, one of the bolts is hollow. So I suppose this goes on the damper side. Would there be any chance of the 5ml of oil in that leg leaking?

Help with this Rock Shox please

Yes, yes. I looked inside the bottom legs and in fact there are 2 metal bushing where you said. I'm gonna try source a new stanchion as well, although a first look online doesn't bring up anything.

I opened 2 of them and there were no bushings there. Got to dig out pictures of my Marzocchi bomber where I'm sure there were no bushing either. I might be wrong of course.

Help with this Rock Shox please

Thanks for your input. Bear with me if I'm about to say something stupid, but... Looking at how the fork is constructed, the part of the stanchion that is damaged, does not rub against anything. It is only the top part that slides in the collar in the lower leg. So, I don't think it makes any...

Help with this Rock Shox please

For completion, this is the open cartridge. Would I need to fill it with oil completely? Any tips on how to do it and avoid air getting in?

Ok, I'll source the seals and report here.

Help with this Rock Shox please

So, before compressing the fork and fitting the bottom bolts, you add 5ml of oil in each leg, correct?

Help with this Rock Shox please

Yes, straight, clean and smooth. As I understand, oil only goes into this damper, correct?

Help with this Rock Shox please

Thanks. So the oil only goes into the damper cartridge? Where would I find the seals?

Help with this Rock Shox please

From the right side cartridge I removed the circlip and all was sparkling clean and oiled, so I closed it but forgot to take a picture. I mean that black tube, don't know if it's a cartridge. There were 2 seals and a strong small spring in it.

Help with this Rock Shox please

Update. I have removed the circlips and pulled out the 2 "things". As you can see, left seems to be the dry side where there should be grease and right is the wet side, where I suppose there should be oil. JUST GUESSING, I MIGHT BE WRONG. When assembled, from the right side I can't see...

Help with this Rock Shox please

Hi, thanks. I post some pictures of the components and try to answer your questions. There's no adjuster at the bottom of the legs, but there's one on both upper. It's a simple pin that compresses the spring when tightened. Bolts are just bolts, no hole in them. If I look through the upper...
