It didn't go that well with the other older design Pulstar rear hub :eek:. Either the freehub support is too weak, being aluminum-made, or the freehub support was CNC-machined in the hub shell and isn't removable at all.

Even with the help of a heatgun, it required a considerable amount of torque (two people) to unlock the freehub support, hence the bending of the rod! But in the end, tadaaaaa!

Anyway, wrench ready, put in a vice and laced hub presented to the facing socket.

There you go. A dead freehub body was drilled to insert and weld in place a rod blocking the socket (initially, the rod was perfectly straight; more on this later). Yeah, I didn't have sufficient time to properly disassemble the freehub body (don't know how/what to do, BTW) so just brute force...

Main oil seals are 25.4x35x7mm in the end.
