    Let's play cops and robbers....

Sounds about right, then police officers find ways to fine us to pay back what they over spent on their BSO's

    Let's play cops and robbers....

I've always wondered why they make police ride bikes, hardly useful when fighting crime when you worry about your police bikes getting nicked because the police won't do bugger all about bike theft in the first place, you just get given a crime reference number..

Bit of fun - How long as a percentage of your life have you owned your bike?

The longest ownership of any one of my bikes is around four years or so. But that's only 0.07% I have just turned 57...

How Many Bikes Do You Think You Have Owned Over The Years….?

Bikes I bought myself, so not counting the bikes my parents bought for me when I was still very young. I have bought about 36 bikes myself. That doesn't seem like many compared to some on here. Currently have 8 complete bikes and two bike frames and many spare parts which I need to organise...

I too had a frame like this and sold it to another member on here a few months ago. Nice frame but didn't have a use for it.

    1991 GT Avalanche

Love that bike and have one myself! I do however like the GT FlipFlop stem and I don't think it's ugly. 😁 I consider myself lucky to have found one in a very good condition and my size (16" frame). See my thread here.

I have always liked the way GT's looked, even in my early teens when I got into BMX racing in 1981. Though at the time I couldn't afford a GT BMX I had a fairly basic bike which I loved. But my real love for GT bikes got reignited by buying my first GT mountain bike (a forest green Timberline)...

    Mixing red and blue

My 1993 GT Zaskar LE (my very first bike build bitd) was kitted out with green anodised U.S.E. straight handlebars and matching seatpost, also U.S.E. branded. Then it also had red anodised Topline cranks and silver Pace chainrings. Forks were Pace RC35's. Most other parts were mostly silver...

So I have added another GT to my stable....(read: Livingroom)

I appreciate the offer but I don't get on with drop bars unfortunately, tried it but my wrists didn't agree with it.

One of our cats, Temmie likes to sit on my bikes' saddle but doesn't claw at it. My gaming chair, however suffered a worse fate by claws! 🙀 Got a new chair last week though. It's not only GT's i like, but cats too 😻

Finally got round to investing in some stands for my bikes, did some shuffling around of furniture to make way for my bikes. No room for a settee as I never really use it and the last one I had got pretty much destroyed by our cats, lol. The only bike not in this photo is my 2011 GT Zaskar...
