Now that’s one classy looking build.
Good to see these Snake Belly tyres on a bike other than a close-up shot on a klunker. They look great including homage to the Specialized yellow labelled tyres. Good to hear you’re pleased with them.
I had a Shaun the Sheep rucksack back in my motorcycling days. Useless capacity and not waterproof, but looked hilarious stretched around motorcycle leathers with his arms and legs flailing around when you rode.
Nice work! Some seatposts are never the size they are, but for sure it certainly does look like it's dropped below the 26mm DIA it once was.
You might be able to shim it slightly to prevent overstetching the seat tube clamp or use carbon paste to help the seatpost stay in place.
That Kalloy...
That's one stunning machine.
Great month again with a huge spectrum of bikes in the mix to make it interesting and mess with my head what to vote for! 🤪
Thats clean, but the earlier Kuwahararara's appeal to me more with their creative paint finishes and cleaner lines thanks to more delicate/less oversized tubing. The fork blades on that one look quite clunky, almost as if they are off a BSO!
Ha! I used to throw lots of stuff out and i’m
Still haunted by some of my actions. Not anymore though! Hence the need for a bigger garage/workshop! Buying anything abroad these days can be quite a costly experience!
Just looked back to the original photo to fully appreciate the front mudguard again and it really looks like it belongs on a Massey Ferguson!
I also noticed it came with a GT studded saddle from 1991, not sure how I missed that! Would you be interested in selling? No idea on condition of it...
Great tyres! They look awesome.
Tube wise, keep looking, but many self destructed BITD and no doubt even more prone to self destructing some 30 years on. I had some and reserved them for racing only and eventually gave up on them, but kept the dust caps so I can pretend I have them fitted!!! 😜...
