You should just be able to click on the link and view as its on FaceBook Marketplace. I can view things on Marketplace without an account, but cannot view any posts/messages from people’s account etc. The only reason i’d Join FB is solely to find retro bike stuff!

Check to see how far down it does before it gets tight. It may the where the brace on the seat stays is welded against the back of the seat tube and depending on the amount of penetration, the weld may have come through onto the inside wall of seat tube or...

I have a 1990 GT Team Avalanche with original Tioga seatpost. I can check the DIA sometime tomorrow as it’s currently hammering down with rain and lighting out the garage is pretty poor!
I did think that when I was writing it! 😜 Joking/puns aside, its fully integrated with partially hidden wires, not too dissimilar to modern machines today.
