Mystery and Unidentified Parts

The red spider is probably the CD version of the silver one.

BCD for the granny ring should be 58mm which is 34.1mm from hole to hole.

The silver one is for full sized chainrings so 74mm BCD (43.5mm hole to hole).

All sizes on Sheldon's website: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/cribsheet-bcd.html

Although Caj Remtiw's answer is a bit more interesting!
This could also be a Speedtec missile crankset with Compact Spider.🤔

Thanks. The cutouts in the spider on mine are nearly flat in between the outer holes. These look to be much more curved. Otherwise the crank arms look very similar. I’m reasonably certain my cranks are Topline as the bb is also Topline Ti, and the bike has a couple Topline stickers on it..

The crank in the photo comes with a 110mm Spider.
Yours could be the same crank with a compact spider.
The crankarms of Speedtec and Topline are nearly the same.
Its only an idea, because I never saw a Topline with such a spider mounted.🤷‍♂️
Cheers,
Oppa

Interesting. I'd not heard of Speedtec before seeing your post. It looks like they also made similar cranks for Tune. I managed to find a Speedtec catalog here on retrobike, but didn't see a compact spider. You're totally right that the ones I have could be Speedtec, but I'm still going with my gut feeling that they are Topline.:) I have never seen Toplines with similar spider either, which is why I posted here. However, Speedtecs/Tune cranks were made in Germany, and the bike these are on lived it's entire life in Southern California. I have a hard time seeing the original owner mail ordering cranks from Germany in the 90s, when the Toplines were available locally. At least I never would have done that, and with the marginal internet at that time, I would not have even known of Speedtec.

Cheers

Oh wait I was looking at the '89 catalog. "The Centaur group is supplied with the Euclid front derailleur."

Probably wishful thinking.... Funny thing is, I bought it right about the time I despaired of getting Campy mtb gear for a reasonable price. As a consolation prize, I bought this random derailleur on Ebay cuz it was pretty and cheap. You know what they say about blind squirrels

There really is hardly any difference, with Euclid and the early Centaur having the same cage etc. I said Centaur because of that cross-head screw which seems to have arrived with the Centaurs'
