The "synthesis" between beauty and effectiveness

Well, I'm spending my holidays in the south of France, in Collioure, and as usual, after a week I got bored and started looking at bikes and... I found an interesting person who had a Gazelle, Anquetil, Raleigh, etc., and even a very curious Mosser.
46 km away, you have to go see it!

She said yes!!!
I'm the luckiest man in the world.
Well, she's home now, now I just need to send her to Madrid, Spain.
I still have plenty of vacation days left to fix that little problem. 😁

By the way, the fork is upside down, I think it has something to do with the Magura, I'll investigate.

Great find. Looks very similar to that Diamond Back full suspension bike from the same era. It was called the Dual Response or something.

A very similar bike was raced by Dave Cullinan
The frame is identical to Dave Culinan's, "The Flying Cow." He had a unique style and was a world champion...maybe Verlicchi's suspension worked!

Dave was very good; he came from BMX and mastered the bike. Even so, his style was unorthodox but effective.

What wonderful memories!
I found a picture of your bike at the 2021 Eurobike, it's beautiful.

I like that forks are nice I have sintesi hale bopp think it's the same brand my a hard tail didn't know they did full suspensions
At least there are a couple of rigid Thrusters for sale in Spain and I was tempted to buy one, but the truth is I wanted to wait, I knew that one day a Bromont would appear within my reach.

The fork is really nice, a Marzocchi XC 400.
The decals were very bad, and I didn't recognize it (I'm not really an expert on suspension models outside of Manitou).
I'll have to make a new Marzocchi sticker to restore its beautiful image.
By the way, when I discovered the Marzocchi model, I already knew the year of manufacture for this Sintesi: 1993.

OH! And the fork isn't upside down!
Until 1995 (more or less), Marzocchi installed the crown bolts that hold the bars in place at the front. Then they started installing them at the rear. Since I only have a Marzocchi XC 700, I thought they were installed incorrectly.
🤣

Great find. Looks very similar to that Diamond Back full suspension bike from the same era. It was called the Dual Response or something.
Verlicchi Designs
There were many brands that had some version of their suspension in their catalogs.
The Dual Response is similar but not identical. There was even a prototype to "rescue" the legendary off-road motorcycle brand Montesa based on its suspension.
With the same frame, the most legendary ones are perhaps (aside from Sintesi) the Ironhorse and, of course, the Kona EFS.
Although there were others.
I like it a lot!
Thank you very much.

I've always been interested in dual suspension, and I never really used it until I recently bought the Element Sc. Well, another FS I loved was the GT RTS, so if the Sintesi has already arrived, I imagine the GT will arrive in the future as well.

I got a huge box that I was able to adapt at a local appliance store. In the car, I usually carry a piece to place on the dropouts when I remove the wheel to protect the tie rods, which is very useful for storing it properly.
I've disassembled the entire cockpit, but since I can't cut the cables here, I secured the levers with cable ties so they don't get knocked around during the trip.

Well, it's not the best packaging I've ever had, but it's ready to ship to Spain.
