Heads up that tomorrow is the 11th anniversary of this thread (of which this was the second incarnation). No excuses for a ride eh?

Meanwhile this morning. New BB installed. Silence from Simone 12 degrees with a slight chill in the air but warmed up nicely to 14 by the end next to no wind, just the odd S/SW breath or two. Woozy sun, hazy blue skies. Magic.

It's so nice to be home, riding the Castellano "soft machine" (and not carrying enough bloody luggage for a two week trip!).

A softtail is perfect for those recovery days.

Used to head out that way regularly during my brief residency in the lakes, 1986-ish!
