RBG's Steve Goff M1 Rasta 🫥

So far I have only used rattle can, I have bought a full airbrush kit from the car boot as it was only £20 and new in box but haven't read up on using it yet 🫤

@retrobikeguy you got a great habit of picking up these lovely steel steeds and taking them to the next level. Saw this on Instagram last night!

Frameset and bar/stem combo are pretty cool in their own right and this paint really complements it. As you know many UK builders offered pretty out there and flamboyant paint jobs to help sell their frames against US exotica that we always thought were better…

Nice choice of components. Four finger levers are a must with those bars. Looking forward to this progressing! 😍😎

Thank you sir

I seem to have fallen into the rut of saving/collecting/hoarding the old steel beasts don't I , if I'm perfectly honest I think they are much nicer and more individual than the common tat of yeti and fat, with this one I was thinking of the old Dave Lloyd 'crazy paving' design from BITD, quite pleased how it came out too.

Big thank you to @Si_33
For the black cantilevers I have been looking for for ages, these will go nicely on here.

Aye, don't you get all snobby about other bikes.

You're not too big to have the back of your legs slapped. Now you just think on, that's all.

Nothing wrong with BSB's (British Steel Beasts!). I guess because we were told from a young age that mountain bikes originated from the US, the US stuff to me always felt more exotic and the UK MTB magazines seemed to big up US stuff too. However I did soon realise the UK did make some pretty amazing bikes and components. You can now pick up some pretty amazing hand crafted steel framesets that would costs £1,000's to get built today.

I think what you have done is pretty amazing. Have a soft spot for bright MTB's as my first proper bike was a 1989 MBK Hi-Tech Ranger with fluro green-yellow-orange fade.
