Imlach's Sweaty Hippie Funk Collection, adventure bikes, rusty rats, cruisers and other alt bastardisations of bicyclery

maybe that's the only thing tightening the stem and the screws are loose?
With that there is a quick release for turning the bar to the side easily.
This helps a lot storeing the bike for instance in a bike rack, especially next to bikes with nowadays 70+ cm bars.

You can buy such stuff too, in china but also as expensive product from companies like byschulz.

Just personally I wouldn't trust this homemade solution a lot, the only thing holding the entire cockpit may be the ahead clamp.

I wouldn't trust it either...
I also don't see the point of squeezing the bikes between the car and the cabinets. Everybody knows the garage is for bikes and cars go outside. They have their own roof for a reason.

also, look at all that space on top of the bedside tables they've shoved in the garage. they aren't any use as a workbench, much to low, get your bike's up there, safe you scratching the paint work on the more expensive of the two vehicles*.

* the bikes, obvs. :)

ach, I wouldn't generalize too much about it
Look at this, I love this pic from @DesertRyder here in the forum 🤩

In an ideal world you shouldn't have to be selective when it comes what get's into the garage and what not.
