New to me but I’ve had my eye on this for a while.
A gorgeous 1987 Yeti FRO painted by John Slawta of Landshark.

This is a lovely early FRO with the round top tube.
It arrived to be built as you see it here, beautifully, very period correct and dripping in mega kit.

I’m not sure what changes I’ll make yet, it may end up as it is now, but I’m going to try a few things and see how they sit. My current idea is black kit (I’ve got some black XT wheels already) with white contact points (saddle, tyres, grips and cranks). We’ll see. Stunning! I reckon an understated build would be best to let the paint do all the talking.

Looks great.
I’d be tempted to ditch all the white stuff and replace them with black to allow the frame to pop a bit more.

I tried it just now with black wheels but not sure, the wheels do have black spikes though so maybe that swayed it.
Tried to get some pics that get across the vibrancy of the colours.my limited iPhone skills got these. IMG_0065.webp IMG_0064.webp IMG_0066.webp
