Tiny frame. Needs must. If it breaks it breaks. Plenty more frames out there.

I've just put an AMP on a P7 frame and they're just sub-zero levels of cool.

A frame that small has to have a back-story as it's super dinky!

I checked with the previous owner about the Yo Betty and it appears that the extra small size was readily available back in the day and was a friends wife’s bike before it was built for his son. I joined the Fat City group on FB and there before my eyes was a red Yo Betty in the same size. Unfettered and in decent nick. Every fibre of my being wants it.

A few minutes at lunch afforded me some time to fettle. Here is the vision.
Whilst the 400mm post and long stack will raise some eyebrows, it seems to fit and I doubt will cause any major damage to the frame.

The mismatched brakes/pads opposites seem to work well. They and the moon units are from the parts bin as the other silver one broke. Cheap alloy after all.

Seatpost needs a scotch pad clean up which I’ll do towards the end.

I want to run the down pull Paul front so am awaiting a nifty pulley on a clamp for the lower part of the seat tube which will allow that to work as I don’t like the idea of a top pull being so close to the cable stop. Ultimately that’s what the earlier frames had installed in the frame so that’s what I shall do here.

Some parts I’ll think to swap out but so far it looks fun.
