Today's Ride

Actually, last night's ride with POETS CC.
We visited the Chattri memorial - paid our respects to the Indian soldiers killed in WW1.

Ended up in a pub so retrobike posting became less urgent. Lovely evening all round.

I don't want to curse things but it's getting so dusty here that grip is getting worse.

Another beauty of a day here. I never take one of them for granted.

Lovely weather all week, did the same ride three times which isn't like me (prefer a little bit of variety) - it's a nice round 30 miles though and that suits the amount of time I can justify escaping out on the bike.

Same ride as last week but in the opposite direction. Fantastic weather, I would say almost perfect ,12c at 7am this morning and a gentle breeze and wispy clouds in a blue sky.

Out off road with some friends from Lewes Wanderers this morning.
Wild ponies were hogging the bridleways - fair enough, I suppose they have the main claim.

Thank you for your lovely comment. Rest assured it gets a regular beating - as do I! The 650b wheels with my favourite Donnelly EMP 47mm tyres are particularly fun to ride once conditions are dry!

Wild horses weren't the strangest thing I saw today. There was a man carrying a duck round Lewes.
