Retro Guru
I’m selling this original 1988 Gazelle town bike.

Originally imported from Holland by a collector and since been in storage.

Beautiful unused condition and very original.

I have put some new tyres (delta cruisers), a new chain, inner tubes, lower 22tooth rear sprocket and new chain.

Perfect for a collector or ride to work or university in Rolls Royce comfort and style.

I’m 5,10 and it’s a great fit

I’m happy to take more photos and answer any questions

Thank you

Craig

Out of casual I-definitely-don't-need-another-bike interest, what's the situation with the brakes and gearing?

Is it a rod-operated caliper on the front, coaster on the back with a 3sp IGH, or something different?

Ta!

It’s 3 speed and rod operated drum brakes front and back. Both apply when the lever is pulled. The back comes on fractionally before the front (or the other way around) it’s very clever and at the same time simple. They are also pretty good at stopping.

Thanks for clarifying; sounds like an interesting setup.

I'll keep in in mind in case I magically find some space :)
