Hi all, my first post so apologies ifnits not in the right place etc. Thought I would go ahead and dump some images straight away.

I run a community bike repair and recycle shop for a homeless charity 1 day a week in Dorset so very interesting to see people's retro machines. We generally get older bikes like the Raleigh Maverick, that's my own Giant Cadex and a pile of bikes waiting our attention, thanks, Jamie

We are in Poole, Dorset. Currently runs on each Wednesday, weather dependant until we can get an indoor space sorted. Have a look on www.bcha.org.uk for more details.

Awesome, my respect to you for organising such a venture!
I volunteer for two projects in Sheffield, one is Sheffield Community Bike Project, helping people get access to bike repair and skills to repair your own bikes., We also do up bikes for people to buy too.
The other project is Comac Sheffield, providing bikes for asylum seekers.
Either way it involves me getting my hands grubby and fettling, very satisfying despite certain challenges !

my race bike back in the day was a GT Zaskar LE with Campag Atek rims, DX/XT mix groupset, Gripshift , Onza bar ends, blue Turbo saddle and blue bolts, Ringle blue bottle cage and skewers I recall, Pace Rigid forks, great bike.
