Retrobike Gallery - your experiences?

OK, quick poll to find peoples thoughts and experiences on the retrobike gallery.

Put a bit of work into speeding the gallery up but it still isn't great. How is it for the rest of you?

Made a load of changes this morning so please give it a try now...

It's still a bit slow, but it's MUCH better than it was.

still really slow - I'll be honest it does put me off using it as it currently stands. Sorry, as I know you're doing your best to try and speed it up

No problem in being honest.

Sadly the one feature of the otherwise awesome gallery2 package which attracted me to use it (the useralbum add on) would seem to be the module which doesn't scale well now the site has grown. Which leaves me in a bit of a quandry.

still a bit slow .

when I was with Aol it used to crash it for a few seconds , now with Virgin it is ok .

still a great feature I have to say . very practical to post pics , when you dont have your own web page to host them . and I hate Imagesack and others as they send more pop ups than porn sites !!!

Still slow im affraid. I prefer to host images on photobucket and link them here, however that doesnt help build a growing archive on the site its self.

I would really love to see it used more, and if the speeds could be any where near those of photobucket or similar sites i'd be all over it.

The only thing I can add about the gallery would be a small intro, i.e. uploading pics for idiots, still not sure how to do it

A common mistake, underestimating my level of idiocy. Downloaded picasa, upload photos, created export file, browse, and.... file not supported :x created a zip file and...platform error???

Anyway sorry John for the thread hijack

What I meant was with other forums I can go from my pictures directly and pop a pic in a post.
