Pardon my poor english..

I have a Miyata TIRunner\Elevation 8000.
The frame is loose betveen the titanium tube and aluminium lugs..
Is there any glue available to bond these parts?

Anyone with experience in doing this?

Thanks in advance :)

Yes, there is glue to get this fixed.
Problem is that you have to remove the old glue and clean up between the lugs and the tube, it is very hard to get between.
My advise is to ask a glue specialist how to solve this.

Good luck.

I dont think my local glue expert knows mutch about glueing titanium.. not often to come across..

My plan is to separate the other end of the tube and loosen it completely.. so i can clean properly.

You dont have any information about a specific glue?

I believe there is/was a Vitus repair shop in Canada. Maybe they accept other bonded frames too?

locktite web site would be your first stop
or maybee ciba-giegy (?)

a uv cure adhesive would be ideal for this
but locktite 625(i think) high strength retainer works well i use it
for a lot of stuff including fitting gears to shafts for automation equipment ,its not too fussy about clean surfaces either

glue

3M may well be worth looking at,when i worked as a boat builder they use to supply glue to stick all sort,s of wierd and wonderful things :D
