I think this one just about sneaks under the radar - NOS 1997 Dirt Research Bandelier imported from USA after I fell in love in a small-town bike store in North Georgia. Initially thought it was a '95 model but a bit of googling reveals the metallic black colorway to be '97.

Original thread is here but thought I'd best carry on updating in the correct section now that I have my sticky mitts on it :P More pics here 8)

Apologies but if you're expecting a nice lightweight x/c build please look away now  . Lightweight it may be but I don't do head down/ass in the air x/c

Understated at the mo' . . . but I haven't put the blue bits on yet  Yellow is cool though - I've had one or two 8) At least the cars can see you

. . . and we're done :D Freakin' love this one - yup, I know, I know   Paintwork is now covered in good ol' Newport crud too but that's the way it should be 8)

Just the small matter of a driveside crank replacement to sort (tapers have seen better days) before it gets ridden in anger. Was a riot at the pump track on the way back from work though :P

Well done Lynne as that looks really smart and i thought you said it was mucky as it doesn't look too bad to me but at least your enjoying this little gem by the looks of it 8) but yes don't get too carried away until that crank arm is sorted as we certainly don't want any accidents and i hope you've waxed n polished that lovely paint work to protect it ;) ..
