I realise Nick @ Pros Closet has a business to run but if he was really interested in MTB history there'd surely be some mention of their previous owner no? 100% mark up too from what they sold for a couple of weeks back :roll:

I was lucky enough to buy a couple of pieces from Ken and believe me will never be sold! They are the best 2 items of MTB history I own . The pictures and articles on mr foraker where awe inspiring back in the early 90's a true MTB legend ! salute ken foraker

I was shocked to see that we won those two auctions for the prices we did.

We put both of them back up with the mindset that once one sold we would pull the other one and keep it in the museum. We are collectors but we are "minimalist" collectors. We don't need two of the same thing.

We purchased some other pieces from Ken as well. Great guy.

I updated the auction with a photo Ken etc.

We have 32 employees here and not all of them are retro guru's. Each one specializes in something specific whether it is clothing / vintage parts etc. In this case our in house vintage / retro guy didn't post this, our clothing auctioneer did.

We have someone reviewing the auctions everyday for accuracy etc but it is inevitable when you are listing 3000 auctions that something might not be 100% correct.
